My Sisters and Brothers in Christ,
Charla is beloved by us all and has helped shape the Chapel to become what it is today. She has been an invaluable part of our team and an astonishing gift to the Chapel for 13 years. One of my greatest gifts in ministry has been to work alongside her. To say that I rely on her partnership is a vast understatement. The most important thing we can do now is support Charla by providing her the necessary time and freedom from Chapel responsibilities to focus on her treatment and recovery.
In an effort to minimize calls to Charla, her family, and the Chapel staff about her health or the progress of the treatments, updates will be provided through a blog we have set up for Charla, linked here.
During this time, I ask each of you to pray continually for Charla for complete healing, freedom from pain and angst, and continued rock-solid faith. I ask that you also pray for Tim, her husband, and their three children, Nick (and wife Wrendy), Ben, and Anna Kate, for peace, strength, and faith at this time.
In addition, please keep the entire Chapel staff and Board in your prayers. We need strength, guidance, wisdom, and support to navigate this unforeseen event.
While my soul feels shattered this day, I trust that God is surrounding Charla and her family. Our loving God will help us all make it through this – not alone, but together – and help us to continue to thrive as the Chapel we have become. We all look forward to Charla’s complete recovery and return.
Charla will not be able to respond immediately to texts, emails, or phone calls. If you would like to reach out with a note of encouragement, please consider sending a card to her personal address, or:

PO Box 17169 Snowmass Village, CO 81615
As we gain a better understanding of the tangible things that can be done to support Charla and her family, we will provide sign-up sheets to help. For now, PRAY.
I send unbounded love, blessings, and prayers to each of you.
Robert
